Amazing Structure

Wembley Stadium (often referred to simply as Wembley or sometimes as New Wembley to distinguish it from the old stadium, pronounced / wɛmbli /) is a football stadium located at Wembley Park, London Borough of Brent, England and is home to the national team  English soccer.  The stadium, which opened in 2007, has a capacity of 90,000 seats and is the second largest stadium in Europe.  The stadium also hosts the English domestic cup final match, the FA Cup.

The stadium was designed by Foster and Partners and Populous (later HOK Sport), including a steel arch that is very well known in the roof structure.  With a span of 317 meters (1,040 ft), the steel arch of Wembley Stadium is the longest single-span steel arch structure in the world.  The stadium was built by Australian company Multiplex at a cost of £ 798 million.

NFL International Series.  The stadium has also been a concert venue for famous artists, such as Green Day, Muse, Oasis, Take That, Metallica, U2, and Madonna, as well as hosting Concerts for Diana and Live Earth Concerts.
